Description

Hot Honey Chicken Cutlets are a flavorful dish combining crispy chicken with a sweet and spicy honey drizzle.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko or regular)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ cup hot honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap or parchment paper. Pound them to an even thickness of about ½ inch.
  2. Set up a breading station with flour in one dish, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs mixed with seasonings in the third.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip it in beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  5. Add the breaded chicken cutlets to the skillet in batches. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Heat the hot honey in a small saucepan over low heat until warm.
  7. Transfer cooked chicken cutlets to a serving platter. Drizzle warm hot honey over them.
  8. Sprinkle fresh parsley on top for garnish.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, use Panko breadcrumbs.
  • Adjust the amount of hot honey based on your spice preference.
  • Serve with your choice of sides like salad or rice.
