Description

Delightful Hershey’s S’mores Cupcakes combining fluffy chocolate cake with gooey marshmallows and rich chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup Hershey’s chocolate bar, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a standard cupcake tin by lining it with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and egg.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix; lumps are okay!
  5. Gently fold in mini marshmallows, graham cracker crumbs, and chocolate chips.
  6. Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with batter.
  7. Top each cupcake with chopped Hershey’s chocolate bar.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool for about 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a more intense chocolate flavor, use dark cocoa powder instead of regular cocoa powder. Add mini marshmallows halfway through baking for a gooey topping.
