Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Turkey
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Herbs (parsley, dill)
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 medium Onion
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Zest
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt
  • 1/2 medium Cucumber
  • 1 clove Minced Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, herbs, minced garlic, diced onion, lemon zest, bread crumbs, and egg. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Roll the turkey mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown and reach 165°F (74°C).
  5. In a medium bowl, mix together Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt. Refrigerate for at least 10 minutes.
  6. Serve meatballs warm alongside the homemade tzatziki, and enjoy!
