- 1 lb Ground Turkey
- 1/4 cup Fresh Herbs (parsley, dill)
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1/2 medium Onion
- 1 tbsp Lemon Zest
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1/2 cup Bread Crumbs
- 1 large Egg
- 1 cup Greek Yogurt
- 1/2 medium Cucumber
- 1 clove Minced Garlic
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, herbs, minced garlic, diced onion, lemon zest, bread crumbs, and egg. Mix gently until just combined.
- Roll the turkey mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown and reach 165°F (74°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix together Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt. Refrigerate for at least 10 minutes.
- Serve meatballs warm alongside the homemade tzatziki, and enjoy!
