- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
- Cooked rice or lettuce leaves for serving
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, rice vinegar, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Add the ground beef to the bowl and mix until fully coated in the marinade. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated ground beef to the skillet.
- Cook the beef, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Stir frequently until it’s browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Once the beef is cooked, stir in the chopped green onions and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Remove the skillet from heat. If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds over the beef before serving.
- Serve the beef over cooked rice or in lettuce leaves for a fresh, crunchy wrap.
