Description

A rich and creamy dessert blending warm flavors of gingerbread and coffee, perfect for festive celebrations.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 cup brewed coffee
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine gelatin with water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
  2. Heat coffee, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and salt in a saucepan until hot but not boiling (about 10 minutes).
  3. Stir in the bloomed gelatin until dissolved and remove from heat (2 minutes).
  4. Whip the cream until soft peaks form, then fold in the coffee mixture and vanilla extract (10 minutes).
  5. Pour mixture into dome molds and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to set (5 minutes).
  6. Once set, unmold the mousse and top with desired toppings (5 minutes).
  7. Serve and enjoy immediately!

Notes

Customize with chocolate ganache or caramel drizzle as desired. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
