- 12 to 16 oz white chocolate (melting wafers or chips)

Instructions
- Combine peanut butter, softened butter, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
- Gradually beat in the powdered sugar in two additions until a cohesive, rollable dough forms.
- If using, fold in crisp rice cereal or cornflakes.
- Scoop 1-tablespoon portions of the dough and roll them into balls or small ghost mounds.
- Place the rolled dough on a parchment-lined tray and chill in the refrigerator for 30–60 minutes until firm.
- Gently melt the white chocolate using short microwave bursts or a double boiler until smooth and fluid.
- Spoon or dip each chilled dough ball to fully coat it in melted white chocolate, allowing some to drip naturally to form ghost-like edges.
- While the chocolate is still tacky, press on candy eyes to create the ghostly faces.
- Chill the Ghostly Peanut Butter Balls until the chocolate coating is fully set.
- Serve slightly cool for the best texture.
Notes
- If the dough crumbles, knead it briefly or add 1–2 teaspoons of peanut butter. If the dough is too soft, add more powdered sugar or chill it longer before rolling.
- For classic peanut butter balls, swap the white chocolate for milk or dark chocolate.
