Description

A delicious and easy-to-make garlic parmesan focaccia bread, perfect as a side dish or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Fresh rosemary for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, dissolve sugar and yeast in warm water. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until combined.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  6. Punch down the dough and spread it onto a greased baking sheet.
  7. Make dimples in the dough with your fingers, then drizzle with olive oil.
  8. Sprinkle minced garlic, parmesan, and rosemary on top.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.

For best results, use high-quality olive oil and freshly grated parmesan cheese.
