Ingredients

  • ½ tablespoon avocado oil
  • 2 pounds of steak, cut into small bite size pieces
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons butter or ghee
  • 6 cloves minced garlic
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley
  • Green onion, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the steak pieces with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes, stirring well to ensure every piece is evenly coated with the seasoning.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the avocado oil. Place the steak bites in a single layer in the hot skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until nicely browned, stirring occasionally. If your skillet is small, cook the steak in batches for even cooking. Remove the browned steak from the pan and set aside.
  3. Discard any excess water from the skillet, then add butter or ghee and melt over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant but not burned.
  4. Return the steak bites to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, stirring to coat them thoroughly with the garlic butter sauce. Remove the pan from heat.
  5. Stir the chopped parsley into the steak bites, then garnish with fresh green onion. Serve immediately to enjoy this flavorful dish at its best.
