Description

A quick and easy homemade garlic bread recipe that’s perfect for any occasion. Once you’ve tried it, you won’t go back to store-bought versions!


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of French bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine unsalted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Carefully slice the French bread in half lengthwise.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly onto both halves of the bread.
  5. If using, sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Place the buttered bread on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until the edges are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Allow to cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

For a stronger garlic flavor, let the garlic butter mixture sit for a few minutes to meld the flavors. You can also customize with additional herbs or cheeses.
