- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional toppings: nuts, sea salt, crushed Oreos
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients: Gather your ingredients and tools.
- Combine ingredients in a saucepan: In a medium saucepan, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Heat over medium-low, stirring constantly until melted.
- Stir in vanilla: Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract until combined.
- Pour into prepared pan: Carefully pour the mixture into a greased 8-inch square pan.
- Add optional toppings: Sprinkle any toppings on top of the fudge.
- Cool and set: Let the fudge cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes, then refrigerate until fully set, about 2-3 hours.
- Cut into squares: Using a sharp knife, cut the fudge into squares and serve.
