Description

A quick and flavorful dish featuring fried cabbage combined with shrimp, sausage, and bacon, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup yellow onions, chopped
  • 3 cups cabbage, cut in thin strips
  • 1012 shrimp, tail-off & deveined
  • 1 link kielbasa or smoked sausage, cut 1/2 in
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp seafood seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté onions until translucent.
  3. Add cabbage and stir-fry until wilted.
  4. Mix in sausage and shrimp, cooking until shrimp is pink.
  5. Season with seafood seasoning and smoked paprika. Stir and return bacon.
  6. Serve hot!

Notes

To avoid tears while chopping onions, chill them in the fridge for about 30 minutes before cutting.
