Description

A creamy, cheesy delight combining golden baby potatoes, rich beef broth, and gooey Gruyère cheese, perfect for cozy family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds baby potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh thyme for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Boil potatoes till fork-tender, then drain.
  3. Caramelize onions in olive oil and add garlic.
  4. Stir in beef broth and simmer.
  5. Layer potatoes in a dish and pour onion mixture over them.
  6. Top with cheese and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Season, garnish with thyme, and serve hot.
