- 200 g Dark Chocolate (Use high-quality chocolate for best results.)
- 100 g Nutella (Optional; substitute with dark chocolate if not using.)
- Balloons or Silicone Molds (Use to create edible bowls.)
- 3 large Egg Whites (Whipped to firm peaks.)
- 300 ml Heavy Cream (Whipped to soft peaks.)
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract (Enhances flavor.)
- 3 large Egg Yolks (Traditionally used in mousse.)
- 50 g Chopped Hazelnuts (Sprinkle on top.)
- 6 Ferrero Rocher (For topping each dessert bowl.)
Instructions
- Melt dark chocolate and Nutella (if using) until smooth. Inflate balloons to teacup size, dip them in chocolate, swirl for even coating, sprinkle with hazelnuts, and chill until firm, about 30 minutes.
- Whip egg whites with sugar until glossy peaks form, about 3-5 minutes. In another bowl, whip heavy cream with vanilla until soft peaks form. Blend cooled chocolate with egg yolks and fold in whipped cream and egg whites.
- Spoon or pipe the mousse into the cooled chocolate bowls, leaving room for toppings. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Top each bowl with a Ferrero Rocher and sprinkle with extra hazelnuts.
