Description

Easy Homemade Cookies are the perfect recipe for quick sweet cravings. Whip up a batch that’s delicious and fun in no time!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of softened butter (unsalted)
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 cup of packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 3 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp of baking soda
  • ½ tsp of salt
  • 2 cups of chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
  3. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. On a lined baking sheet, drop spoonfuls of dough about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Chilling the dough for about 30 minutes will make for thicker cookies. You can also add nuts or dried fruit for extra flavor.
