Description

Dill Pickle Cheese Ball—an easy, crowd-pleasing appetizer. Quick to make and packed with flavor, this recipe will elevate your next gathering!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup finely chopped dill pickles
  • 2 tablespoons pickle juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, chopped dill pickles, pickle juice, garlic powder, onion powder, and fresh dill if using. Stir until well blended.
  2. Shape the mixture into a ball using your hands.
  3. On a flat surface, pour your chopped nuts. Roll the cheese ball into the nut mixture until coated.
  4. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
  5. Serve alongside crackers, veggies, or as a sandwich spread.

Notes

Can substitute cream cheese with Greek yogurt or cottage cheese for a lighter version. For a spicy kick, add chopped jalapeños or cayenne pepper. If short on time, chill in the freezer for 25-30 minutes.
