Description

A comforting and easy-to-make crockpot dish featuring savory steak, tender potatoes, and delicious toppings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound flank steak (or your favorite cut)
  • 4 medium-sized potatoes, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Dice your potatoes and chop the onion.
  2. Layer the diced potatoes and chopped onions at the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Season the flank steak with salt and pepper, and lay it on top of the potatoes and onions.
  4. Pour the beef broth over everything.
  5. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for about 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours.
  6. About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
  7. Serve with a dollop of sour cream, crumbled bacon, and fresh green onions on top.
