- 4 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 1 celery stalk, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove from the pot and set aside.
- In the same pot, add chopped onion, minced garlic, carrots, and celery. Sauté until tender.
- Add the diced potatoes and chicken broth to the pot, bringing it to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover the pot, and let it simmer until the potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
- Return the cooked sausage to the pot and stir in the heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a creamier texture, use an immersion blender to smooth it out. Customize with your favorite vegetables or seasonings.
