- 1 lb ground beef (lean, 90/10 or 85/15)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
- Bring salted water to a boil in a large pot.
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

- Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Remove from heat and stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly. Heat through on low if needed.
- Serve in bowls, garnished with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan if desired.
