- 8 oz pasta (like penne or fettuccine)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water, cook pasta according to package directions. Add broccoli for the last 2 minutes. Drain and reserve some pasta water.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add cubed chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown. Add minced garlic in the last minute.
- Lower heat, pour in heavy cream, and mix in Parmesan cheese until melted. Use reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.
- Toss drained pasta and broccoli into the skillet, coating them in the sauce. Adjust seasonings, adding red pepper flakes if desired.
- Plate hot, garnishing with extra Parmesan cheese and black pepper if you like. Enjoy!
