Description
A quick and easy pasta dish that combines creamy BBQ sauce, crispy bacon, and tender chicken, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1 lb chicken breasts, diced
- 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Begin by boiling a pot of salted water and prepare the pasta according to package instructions. Once al dente, drain and set aside.
- Sizzle the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, add a splash of olive oil. Season the diced chicken with salt and pepper, then add it to the skillet. Cook until golden brown and no longer pink in the center, about 5-7 minutes.
- Make It Creamy: Once the chicken is done, stir in the BBQ sauce, chicken broth, and ranch dressing. Bring this mix to a gentle simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Toss the Pasta: Add the cooked pasta to your creamy BBQ chicken mixture. Toss everything together until the pasta is fully coated in the luscious sauce.
- Cheese, Please!: Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top, and give it a good stir until the cheese is melted and everything is evenly mixed.
- Garnish & Serve: Plate the pasta and top it with crumbled bacon and a sprinkle of fresh parsley. Enjoy!
