- Pipe small circles onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Let the piped macarons sit for 30 minutes to form a skin.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until firm.
- Let cool completely before removing from the baking sheet.
- For the filling, whip the heavy cream until peaks form, then fold in the coffee and butter.
- Spread or pipe the filling between two macaron shells.
