Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Prep Your Ingredients: Gather all ingredients and measure them out.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt.
  3. Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Combine Wet Ingredients: Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Combine Dry and Wet Ingredients: Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in Apple: Gently fold in the finely diced apples.
  7. Chill the Dough: Cover the dough and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Prepare Cinnamon Sugar Coating: Mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
