Description

A warm and delightful Cinnamon Apple Cake that is simple to make and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the applesauce, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined. Fold in the diced apples.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
