- 1 ½ cups Oreo crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon red food coloring
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ¼ cup Christmas sprinkles
- Whipped cream for topping
- Mini Oreos for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Wrap a 9-inch springform pan with heavy-duty aluminum foil.
- Mix Oreo crumbs with melted butter and sugar, then press into the prepared pan. Bake for 8-10 minutes and cool.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar, vanilla, cocoa, and food coloring. Whip cream and fold it into the mixture with sprinkles.
- Reduce oven to 325°F (160°C), place foil-wrapped pan in a larger roasting pan and add hot water. Bake for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- Turn off oven, leave cheesecake inside for 1 hour. Remove, cool, then chill for at least 6-8 hours.
- Decorate with whipped cream, sprinkle with mini Oreos and additional sprinkles before serving.
Notes
For best results, allow cream cheese to reach room temperature before mixing.
