Description

Deliciously Creamy Christmas Cream Cheese Mints to Delight You

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon Mint Extract (can substitute other extracts)
  • 2 tablespoons Milk (substitute with cream or non-dairy alternatives)
  • 1 cup Holiday Sprinkles (optional)
  • as needed granulated or powdered sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Begin by softening cream cheese until smooth. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and mint extract using a hand mixer for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing on low speed. Incorporate milk and blend until smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Fold in additional powdered sugar and holiday sprinkles until the mixture is dough-like.
  4. Knead in remaining powdered sugar until the dough is consistent and not sticky, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Roll small portions of dough into balls approximately ¾ inch in diameter and coat with sugar and sprinkles.
  6. Place mints on a lined baking sheet, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  7. After chilling, flatten each mint slightly with a fork and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
