Description

A warm batch of Chocolate Chip Cookies, perfect for cozy evenings and quick treats.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets and bake for about 9-11 minutes, until lightly golden around the edges.
  7. Allow to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature ingredients and consider chilling the dough for an hour before baking.
