- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets and bake for about 9-11 minutes, until lightly golden around the edges.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature ingredients and consider chilling the dough for an hour before baking.
