Description

Decadent bars featuring a dark chocolate cookie crust, a creamy cheesecake filling studded with chips, and a silky chocolate ganache topping.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs (Oreo or graham cracker)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (Melted)
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar (For crust)
  • 24 oz cream cheese (Softened (3 blocks))
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (For filling)
  • 3 large eggs (Room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (Room temperature)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract (Flavor)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (For filling)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (For ganache)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (For ganache)
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (For garnish)

Instructions

  1. Mix cookie crumbs, sugar, and melted butter; press into a 9×13 pan and bake at 325°F for 10 mins.
  2. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth; add sour cream and vanilla.
  3. Add eggs one at a time on low speed; fold in 1 cup chocolate chips.
  4. Pour over crust and bake for 35-40 minutes until center is almost set; cool completely.
  5. Pour hot cream over chips to make ganache; spread over bars and chill for 4 hours.
