Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken, beef, or pork (sliced)
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, snow peas)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (mixed with 2 tablespoons water)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  2. Sauté minced garlic and ginger for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced protein and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the mixed vegetables and cook until just tender, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Add soy sauce and oyster sauce, followed by the cornstarch mixture to thicken the sauce. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, and serve hot over steamed rice.
