- 1 lb chicken, beef, or pork (sliced)
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, snow peas)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (mixed with 2 tablespoons water)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice for serving
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Sauté minced garlic and ginger for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced protein and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the mixed vegetables and cook until just tender, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add soy sauce and oyster sauce, followed by the cornstarch mixture to thicken the sauce. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper, and serve hot over steamed rice.
