Description
A quick and easy chicken fillet recipe smothered in a spicy, creamy garlic-parmesan sauce, perfect for busy families.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 pieces chicken fillets
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream (240 ml)
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (garnish)
- 1 bag frozen or homemade fries
Instructions
- Prepare the fries according to package instructions or bake homemade fries at 425°F (220°C) for 30-35 minutes until crispy.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Then, pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes, cooking for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over it, and let all simmer together for another 2-3 minutes. Serve this delightful dish alongside fries, garnishing with chopped parsley.
Notes
Store leftover sauce separately from the chicken to maintain texture. Cooked chicken can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
