Instructions
- Brew one shot of espresso or a strong cup of coffee at 190°F (88°C). Set aside.
- In a blender, combine half a cup of pitted fresh cherries with one tablespoon of vanilla extract; blend until smooth.
- Heat one cup of milk or dairy-free alternative in a saucepan over medium heat until steaming.
- Combine the hot espresso with the cherry-vanilla blend in a mug, then pour the steamed milk over the top.
- Sweeten with sugar or honey to taste and garnish with fresh cherries or whipped cream if desired.
