Description

A delightful and easy-to-make treat combining the classic flavors of cherry and cheesecake in a fun snack mix.


Ingredients

  • 9 cups Chex cereal (rice or corn variety)
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup cherry gelatin mix
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 package (35 oz) instant cheesecake pudding mix
  • 1 cup dried cherries (chopped)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by measuring out all items and placing the Chex cereal into a large bowl.
  2. Melt the white chocolate chips and unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl by microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Stir in the cherry gelatin mix and vanilla extract (if using) until fully incorporated.
  4. Pour the cherry-chocolate mixture over the Chex cereal and fold gently until every piece is coated evenly.
  5. In a zip-top bag, combine powdered sugar and cheesecake pudding mix. Add the coated cereal in batches and seal the bag, shaking until well covered.
  6. Spread the coated cereal onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and allow it to cool for 10 minutes. Mix in the chopped dried cherries.
