A delicious fusion of classic cheesesteak flavors with tender tortellini in a creamy Parmesan sauce.
Ingredients

- 8 oz tortellini (fresh or frozen)
- 1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Olive oil (for cooking)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the tortellini according to package instructions until al dente (about 5 minutes).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sauté the sirloin steak until browned (about 3-5 minutes).
- Add sliced bell pepper and onion to the skillet and sauté until tender, adding minced garlic for the last minute.
- Return the cooked steak to the skillet, add heavy cream, and bring to a simmer while stirring in Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Toss in the cooked tortellini and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
For extra flavor, salt the water when boiling the tortellini and consider adding a pinch of nutmeg to the sauce.
