- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup baking mix (like Bisquick)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1/4 cup diced pickles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a pie dish.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until browned, about 10 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, baking mix, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Spread the cooked beef mixture into the greased pie dish. Pour the egg mixture over the beef layer. Sprinkle cheese and pickles on top, if using.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and set in the center. Let cool slightly before slicing.
