Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb baby carrots (or regular carrots cut into sticks)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • A pinch of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Start by rinsing the baby carrots under cool water or peel and cut regular carrots into 2-inch sticks.
  2. In a medium-sized pot, bring water to a boil and cook the carrots for 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat, then add brown sugar, honey, salt, black pepper, and cinnamon. Stir until mixed and bubbling.
  4. Drain the boiled carrots and toss them into the skillet, stirring gently to coat in the glaze. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy warm.
