- 1 lb baby carrots (or regular carrots cut into sticks)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- A pinch of cinnamon
Instructions
- Start by rinsing the baby carrots under cool water or peel and cut regular carrots into 2-inch sticks.
- In a medium-sized pot, bring water to a boil and cook the carrots for 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat, then add brown sugar, honey, salt, black pepper, and cinnamon. Stir until mixed and bubbling.
- Drain the boiled carrots and toss them into the skillet, stirring gently to coat in the glaze. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy warm.
