Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • Fresh thyme leaves, to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to approximately 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Sprinkle the crumbled blue cheese, chopped walnuts, and fresh thyme evenly over half of the pastry.
  4. Fold the pastry in half lengthwise and press down gently to seal. Cut into 1-inch strips, twist, and place them upright on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Whisk the egg and brush the tops with the egg wash.
