Description

A vibrant, nutrient-packed Beetroot Chia Detox Drink that’s quick to make and customizable for your taste.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium beetroot (or 150 ml bottled beet juice)
  • 200300 ml water
  • 12 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon to 1 teaspoon lemon juice (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Optional enhancers: ginger, mint, orange, coconut water

Instructions

  1. Choose fresh beetroot and wash, peel, and chop it into small pieces or grate it.
  2. Blend beet with water until smooth or run through a juicer.
  3. In a jar, add chia seeds to water and let sit until gelled (10-15 minutes).
  4. Mix beet juice with soaked chia, adding lemon juice and sweetener to taste.
  5. Serve chilled or at room temperature, optionally garnished with mint or orange zest.
