Ingredients

- 4 large potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 4 pork sausages
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1 cup beef or vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Milk, for mashing
Instructions
- Boil potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and mash with milk, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
- Cook sausages in a skillet until browned. Remove and keep warm.
- Sauté onions in the same skillet; add flour and gradually stir in broth until thickened.
- Serve sausages over mashed potatoes, topped with onion gravy.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, substitute milk with almond milk and use olive oil instead of butter.
