Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease or line a 13×9-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then vanilla.

- Drizzle with chocolate syrup. Sprinkle with nuts if desired. Garnish with maraschino cherries.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours to set. Slice and serve, optionally with whipped cream.
