Description

A quick and healthy Baked Cod recipe featuring flaky cod fillets in a zesty lemon and garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 Cod Fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 3 Cloves Garlic, Finely Minced
  • 1 Large Lemon, Zested and Juiced
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Sea Salt
  • Optional: Black pepper, fresh herbs (parsley or thyme) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, and sea salt until well combined.
  3. Place the cod fillets skin-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush the olive oil mixture evenly over each fillet.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the cod flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Remove from the oven, and serve warm, garnished with lemon slices and fresh herbs.
