Description

A comforting and quick casserole that combines all the flavors of a classic cheeseburger in an easy-to-make dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 strips bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 package (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Garlic powder, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and onions over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked beef, crumbled bacon, cheddar, and mozzarella. In another bowl, whisk together milk and eggs, then pour over beef mixture.
  4. Spread tater tots in a greased baking dish.
  5. Pour the beef mixture over the tater tots, spreading evenly.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until casserole is set and tater tots are golden brown.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Feel free to swap ground beef for turkey or add veggies for a personal touch.
