Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust (or a 9-inch homemade crust)
  • 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or Gruyere)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup of milk (or half-and-half for a richer filling)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: 1 tbsp fresh parsley or chives, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare and pre-bake the crust for 10 minutes.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl; stir in the crumbled bacon and shredded cheese.
  4. Pour the mixture into the crust.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the center is set and golden brown.
  6. Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
