- 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or Gruyere)
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup of milk (or half-and-half for a richer filling)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Optional: 1 tbsp fresh parsley or chives, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare and pre-bake the crust for 10 minutes.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl; stir in the crumbled bacon and shredded cheese.
- Pour the mixture into the crust.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until the center is set and golden brown.
