Description

Crispy wonton shells filled with a savory chicken mixture and topped with crunchy coleslaw, making for a perfect appetizer or family dinner option.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
  • 1 bag coleslaw
  • 4 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 16 wonton wrappers
  • Sweet chili sauce, to serve
  • Chopped cilantro, to serve
  • Sesame seeds, to serve

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray wonton wrappers with cooking spray, drape them over the baking dish, and bake for 7-8 minutes.
  2. Mix the chicken with hoisin sauce, sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Cook in a skillet over high heat for 7-8 minutes until done.
  3. Prepare the coleslaw ingredients in another bowl.
  4. Assemble tacos by adding chicken into wonton shells, topping with coleslaw, and drizzling with sweet chili sauce.
  5. Serve hot, garnishing with cilantro and sesame seeds.
