Description

Quick and easy individual-sized apple treats with a sweet and tart filling and buttery oat topping.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 medium apples, peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. Toss apples with granulated sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Set aside.
  3. Combine rolled oats, brown sugar, flour, and nutmeg. Stir in melted butter until crumbly.
  4. Press a spoonful of the topping into each muffin cup, add apples, and sprinkle more topping on top.
  5. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a dairy-free option, replace butter with coconut oil. Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of the apples used.
