Ingredients

  • 2 large apples, peeled and sliced into wedges
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep your apples by dicing 2 large apples into wedges about 1/2 inch thick.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon salt until combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat 2 large eggs until well blended.
  4. Dip each apple wedge in the beaten egg, then roll it in the dry coating mixture.
  5. Place the coated wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Air fry at 380°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sugar before serving, if desired. Enjoy warm!
