- 1 cup butter that is unsalted softened
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven until 350degF (175degC).
- A bowl is all you need to beat the softened butter with powdered sugar until it is light and fluffy.
- Gradually add flour and mix until a dough that is soft is formed.
- Make small balls, then place them on baking sheets.
- The ball can be flattened slightly using a fork.
- Bake in the oven for between 10 and 12 minutes or until edges are slightly golden.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- Make sure the butter has been softened at temperatures that allow an easy mixing.
- Don’t overbake them; they should only be barely golden on the edges.
- Explore various flavor combinations by adding almond extract, vanilla extract or both to your dough.
